Andrew Kaiser of Quincy Launches Personal Pledge to Promote Lifelong Learning, Better Listening and Community Service

Illinois, USA, Jul 16, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE — After more than four decades of serving his community through veterinary medicine, leadership and volunteer work, Andrew Kaiser of Quincy is launching a personal pledge encouraging individuals to embrace three habits that have guided his own life: listening carefully, learning continuously and serving others.

Rather than focusing on professional achievement alone, the pledge invites people to make small, practical commitments that improve relationships, strengthen communities and encourage personal growth.

Kaiser says the idea grew from lessons he learned throughout his career.

“You have to listen before you can solve a problem,” he says. “People deserve to be heard.”

He also believes lasting progress comes through consistency rather than dramatic change.

“It was always about doing the best job I could,” Kaiser says. “If you focus on doing things the right way, good things tend to follow.”

Throughout his career, Kaiser emphasised continual improvement.

“I never wanted to become complacent,” he says. “There is always something new to learn and always a way to improve.”

He hopes others will adopt the same mindset in their own lives.

“Serving others doesn’t always require something big,” Kaiser says. “Small actions, done consistently, make a real difference.”

  6. I will approach challenges with integrity rather than looking for shortcuts.

  7. I will encourage others by sharing knowledge, experience and practical lessons whenever I can.

Andrew Kaiser of Quincy is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine who spent more than 40 years serving the Quincy, Illinois community. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he practised at West Quincy Veterinary Clinic before founding Katherine Road Animal Hospital in 1984. Throughout his career, he became known for his commitment to high standards, lifelong learning, clear communication and community service, including wildlife rehabilitation, mentoring and volunteer leadership.
